VANE POLISH - LOVE TO LOVE YOU, BAKED & GEL TOP COAT REVIEW

Hey guys!
A few months ago I decided to stop cutting my nails and let them grow this resulted in weekly DIY manicures as I prefer my nails to be polished if they are long. This weekly manicure habit led me to try Vane a Nigerian nail polish brand.
This is the first Nigerian nail polish brand I have tried and I was curious to see how it would hold up.

I purchased 'Love to love you' a beautiful red shade - red is probably my favourite colour for manicures/pedicures.
'Baked' a gorgeous rose gold shade - metallics and chromes are very on trend.
and a Gel top coat because, I needed a top coat and I have never tried a gel top coat so I thought why not.

 Love to love you
Coverage & Application: The coverage is very good, you can get away with using just one coat - I used two because I am a creature of habit but honestly, it was not necessary. Application was smooth no streaks whatsoever I was very pleased with this - I hate streaky nail polish.
Drying time was very fast - important if you are as restless as me.
Longevity: Now time for the verdict, according to the brand their polish is supposed to last 10 days! I do not require my polish to last that long because I change my nail colour weekly. But, I can tell you I got 8 days out of this polish which is phenomenal because, between cooking, washing up and general washing of hands, my hands are in water quite a bit.

Baked
Coverage & Application: Baked has glitter (I think) in it so I was not sure how it would apply because some glittery polishes are rough and require a couple of coats to get even coverage. I am happy to say I did not experience any of these. Application was smooth and I needed only one coat to get good coverage. Drying time is also pretty fast.
Longevity: I think I could have gotten 10 days out of this if I tried as I only started experiencing minimal chipping on the 7th/8th day.
It's coming up silvery in the picture but in person it is a rose gold/bronze shade.

Gel top coat

This top coat is quite thick so it took a while for me to get the hang of using it - I am used to thinner top coats. It dries fast and stays shiny for the duration of my manicure.
when I run out of this I will probably try the gel top coat from Barry M to see how it compares to this as it is a bit cheaper.

Final thoughts.
Is it worth the price? I say yes, I have used nail polishes in this same price bracket that have under performed compared to this.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I already have my eye on a nude shade.

Details.
Price:  2,500 Naira each
Purchase: Vane beauty (wolly's Mall, Fola Osibo, Lekki Phase 1)

Are you a Vane girl? what are your favourite shades?

xo,
Genevieve
