Aesthetic
This is how Chloé describes the bottle -
"Just as the fragrance fuses classic elements with fresh ideas, and airy sweetness with woody strength, the flacon is a study in opposites. Designer Patrick Veillet drew on the intricate detail of the sleeve of a Chloé blouse as the inspiration for the delicately pleated glass walls of the square flacon. An oval cap plays off the strong lines while a silver collar adds a nostalgic feel. The metal plaque is a unique example of craftsmanship rarely seen in modern perfumery, and graced with the finishing touch, of a loosely knotted petal-coloured ribbon."
This perfume bottle is chic but the metal plaque on the bottle does tarnish after some time taking away some of its elegance. I like to think that the tarnished silver adds some "character" to the bottle. (The second picture shows the tarnishing metal plaque)
Fragrance
This perfume is floral opening with top notes of Freesia, Litchi, and Peony, the second layer consists of notes of Lily of the valley, Magnolia and Rose. Third layer closes with base notes of Cedar wood, Musk and Amber.
This perfume could possibly be a "perfect summer day" in a bottle.
Love or loathe
This fragrance featured in my January favourites so you already know I love this perfume. it's light and fresh but still manages to assert its self, feminine without being too sweet or girly. sillage on me is good fragrance lasts all day.
